new here
i have lurking the boards & finally this is my first post. I also have been TTc but i have no luck so tomorrow we are actually going to see a fertility doctor so i hope they can tell us what's wrong. It might be b/c we are older- i'm 34 & dh is 35

oh, 3 months isn't long at all. I have been trying for 6 months and just got an HSG done today. But they say that they won't do anything until at least a year of trying without success. 6 months to a year is average time for someone under 35 I believe.

Welcome to the boards. I hope your stay is short. I'm 34, I have a 2 1/2 year old and have had 2 early mc's in the last 6 mos and TTC a total of 8 mos. I am now seeing an RE as well. 3 mos is still relatively short but I know it can feel like an eternity. I'd probably give it a couple more mos if I were you but heck if you a find a dr willing to work with you....why not. Good luck anything you need to know you will find here.

I am 33 - when i was 31 I got pregnant with my son on the 3rd try. I have been trying now for 3 months already with no luck. I wouldn't stress about it too much just yet. I would give it until 6 months and then start to consider fertility treatments.
It's so funny though because 3 months seemed so long to me the first time I was trying and this time it seems like nothing. I guess I am less stressed because I already have a baby, but don't worry, it will happen for you too! I think that as we get older it just takes a little longer for it to happen sometimes.
