Need to take DS in for 1 yr. bloodwork - Sunrise Labs
Can anyone recommend a location where they have gone and you KNOW they are good with kids? DS is 14 months old and I just called one place (not Sunrise) and she told me, "Well I've done kids before, sometimes it's hard because they move around a lot."
Way to get my vote of confidence lady!

We took Ryan to Good Samaritan Hospital. They have long hours so it was easy for me to pick a day that DH could come with.
Ironically it is located in the "Ryan Pavilion".
They were OK. They had DH sit with Ryan on his lap in the chair. DH held down the opposite arm they were drawing blood from and another tech help hold down the arm they were drawing.
Overall it was a horrible process but we got it done.

I go to Sunrise Labs in Holbrook mostly because they are a smaller one and never really that busy. I just can't wait there with DS or DD for more than 20 minutes like some labs..
I have to say, they are ok. They are not that friendly, but get the job done quick. DS is 40 lbs and goes nuts when they are drawing the blood, so I appreciate the swiftness.
I would also try a hospital... I have gone to both Good Sam and Stony Brook for radiology for both kids and they were GREAT with them.

Just call. I know the hospital we took him to had a whole separate building for "labs/bloodwork".
