Labs that do pediatric bloodwork?
I can call my Pediatrician if noone can recommend a place but I am looking for a lab that does bloodwork on babies. I have to have a CBC and lead test done on Emily as per request of the doc at her 12 month checkup.
We are in Levittown but I grew up in Suffolk so I don't know of places out here that do that!

both my lil ones had to have blood taken at 12 months for a cholestol check and lead testing. i took them to quest labs. they draw blood from babies. and they were really good.

We did Quest also. They have an office in Mineola right downstairs from our pediatrician, so its pretty easy.

I think that's what I'll do. I did a search and there is one in Bethpage that is near us.
Is it OK for me to wait until Saturday to take her since she had her shots today and also has a runny nose? She is a bit cranky and I don't want to make it worse on her!

Quest in Mineola. The girl was wonderful. My son didn't cry at all and I was so happy. He even got a sticker that said "no tears today".

yeah i would wait till she feels alil better. and i know the quest lab by me is open on saturdays from 7am-12noon.

I would call your insurance company first and find out who they use. We didn't do this and had to pay a bill because we used our pediatrician's lab and they were not covered under our plan.
