it's far, penn station is on the west side. you would have to take the r to fifth ave and walk to central park.

Penn is at 34th & 7th
CP is at 59th & Fifth
It's walkable or like Aliasmom stated, you could take the R train to fifth avenue...it leaves right at 59th street across the street from the park entrance.

serendipity is on the east side near 59 th street, I guess you can always walk. fao schwarz is closer to central park.

I would take a train from Penn to anywhere in the 50's and walk over. Avenue blocks are a lot longer than street blocks, though.

well serendipty is around 59 th street between second ave and first, and fao is on fifth avenue and central park is a a few blocks away.

Nope the WTC is in the total opposite direction from Penn Station.
No where near Central Park.

You're right, they did close, but they reopened last October or November, with rennovations. There's no more clock in the front singing "welcome to our world of toys"
