Not knowing the exact dimensions of the sectional it is hard to say but it looks like it is 120'' so the room would have to be extremely large (about 140'' in length) to accommodate it. You said your room is small, if that is the case, I would bring your dimensions with you to the store to make sure the piece would fit in your room with some space around it for side tables and walking.

it's alittle rounder on the top- but with the nail heads
I love it
it holds up well to abuse

Now I have a visual. Me in my North Shore mansion waiting for DH to come home and being in the "library" wearing nothing but a tie (I don't like being cold on my throat!!!) and smoking a cigar.
I will never be able to buy this sofa now.
More people should be so consciencous of their throats!

Depending on how small your livingroom is, because I have a cottage so all rooms are small. I went to Jennifer Convertibles, they had the exact size sectional I needed. Unfortunately, the delivery stunk and the store didnt stand by that.

it looks like something you would see in a library or a study....not warm and homey like I living room.
it's also hard to say based on the photos, but that's the "vibe" the photo gives me.
i agree... and i tihnk if your living room is small, it might overtake the whole room. it's a :loud: piece.

It's very classy looking but doesn't look like it would be that comfy. Like fall asleep and wake up hours later comfy. But maybe that's a good thing. I'm tired of going out to wake up DH in the middle of the night to make him come to bed!

I like it - but I would need to know... what is the purpose of your living room? Do you have a family room that you use for watching tv / kids play area?
Or will this sofa go in that room?
I only ask because I made the mistake of buying a very formal sofa for my "casual family room" where I entertain and now I sort of regret it. I am going to move it into my small formal living room, but it is really too big for that space.

Our LR is 12x16. That's the room. LR, family room, entertaining room, playroom.

I honestly don't think this sofa is so "formal" at all - I think it's classic and stylish ........but not at all formal. I mean, I guess it COULD be, depending on how you decorate around it, but just b/c the room isn't a 'formal' LR, doesn't mean you can't have nice things in there ..........
And personally, with kids, I think leather is a MUCH better idea than fabric -
Leather can be wiped down and easily cleaned, and when it does get a bit worn, it still looks good, especially that deep brown color ..........
I HATE my fabric couch - it's barely 3 years old and was $$$$$$$$ and looks like crap - and it's only me, DH and the 8lb dog !!!
I say go for it !!
