Need a weekend away so badly! Please recommend a close weekend getaway with beach nearby!
I can only think of Fire Island or Greenport for a nearby destination? - anywhere with a pool or beach. Would love a hotel rec as well. DH & I are so stressed out lately- We really need this :( tia

Just got back from Diamond Beach NJ and loved it. It is a private beach located between Cape May and Wildwood Crest.
Stayed at the Hotel Icona -- just completely gutted so brand new.

Im not sure...but they have a facebook page and the person manning the site answers pretty fast. when i was there i dont think the pool was heated bc it was 100 degrees out!
