Recommend your weekend getaway minus the kids
any recommendations on places (drive to) for a couple to have a little fun, recharge, relax a bit?

DH and I sometimes just go local and go to the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook for the weekend. Great restaurant, cute places to have lunch with shopping across the street, the museums (carriage museum and grist mill) and some antique shops down the road, or well head out to Port Jeff to a show or for some drinks and music and then bacl to the Inn. They also have an on-site spa.
