Can anyone recommend a weekend trip
that is relaxing- nice hotel, good spa, food, etc, for a 3 day weekend trip?
Our resort in VA just called and told us there was a mistake w/scheduling and we no longer have a reservation.
We prefer south of NY.

I know you said you prefer south of New York, but my SIL and her husband went out east to Gurney's and loved it.

The Mandarin Oriental in DC is a gorgeous hotel with a great spa.

I know you said south, but I HIGHLY recommend a weekend up in Rhode Island, visiting Newport!!!!! The mansions are beautiful, the area is stunning and offers so much to do every season!
