Recommend Your Favorite Weekend Getaway Spot
DH and I have our 1 year wedding anniversary coming up in May and I want to surprise him with a weekend getaway trip. Maybe one night at a nice hotel in a nice spot. We go to Mohegan Sun often but I want to try something different. Some place within 3 hours drive of LI would be great. TIA!

You could go to the East Wind Inn and Spa for one night and go to the spa and then for dinner at their restaurant, Desmond's. Or maybe check out Greenport, LI and visit the wineries. HTH!

its about 20-30 minutes from AC, in a quiet little spot... they have a gorgeous hotel there, and a couple of good restaurants right there. not much else right there, but you can hit up AC for some nightlife if you want....
we stayed there the night we got engaged, and for our 1 year anniversary.
