My Pookie Love is Gone
I just got home. I can't even talk about this yet but needless to say this did not happen how we wanted. She threw a clot. Yes, DH is at work. Yes, I did this all by myself. I just had the 4 worst hours of my life. I just want to die right now.

Thanks Juney. I just miss her so much already. She sat on my lap when it was time to go. I stayed with her for over an hour afterwards - just me holding her - I couldn't let her go.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my little girl last year to cardiomyopathy and it was a long battle. I know how incredibly painful it is. Your in my thoughts.

I know we want so much more for our loved ones but she passed while getting what she wanted, your companionship and love. Try to find solace in that.

Oh my God. Sh!t.
I am SOOOO sorry.
I know from experience there is nothing any of us can say to make it better- but just know that a lot of us have been there and we can empathize.
The only thing I can say is that at least you know she is not suffering and sick and in pain anymore. That was the ONLY thing that got me through those first few days. Some kind of sense of relief for all of us.. a small amount of peace.
You'll get through it.. one day at a time.
For now just do what you have to do and grieve. And take care of yourself...

Thanks girls. I'm not functioning too well right now. I was most likely going to take today off because I think I'm getting the flu - yes - at six months pg. So, I'm home, feverish, and breaking down every minute. DH and I need to go get her in a few. We decided we wanted to bring her home and conduct our own burial.
DH just broke down when he was telling me what he wanted to do.
