my miracle son just turned one!!!!
holy moly! what a year it has been. braydon just turned one on may 3rd. and he was worth every damn thing we had to go through. from infertility treatments, to high risk obs, to an emergency c section, to a week in nicu, to 4 months of nonstop hellish colic, to postpartum depression and anxiety, and then to lose our home for almost 6 months due to sandy.
unreal unreal.
he is a nutball goofhead now. hes walking and babbling up a storm. most of the time he is a happy little dude now. the colic is gone. he does have pretty bad recurrent ear infections so we are watching that and now he is a teething crabster at times but that goes with the territory.
i realllllly doubted i would ever be a mom. then when i did have braydon...i wondered if i should even be a mom because i found i had such doubts about myself. i still do but oh man....this little boy has taught me so much about myself as a person and i am so grateful for that.
thanks to all on here who have helped me and supported me through the years.
i love being a momma. i love him so much it hurts. and my heart has grown a size bigger.

Glad all is going well.
And you are not alone in what you have felt. It took me 2 years to have him and he was also colic. They really do turn into wonderful little boys and its an amazing feeling when we realize we really were meant to be moms. Enjoy this time because they truly do get better and more amazing with each day!!!!

What a great post! You have a beautiful son. Things can get very hard in parenting, and the wonderful moments make it worth it. Here's to many more happy times with your little guy!
