My latest pet peeve(s)....add yours so I don't feel like a freak!
I simply cannot stand when people say "eww" to something your eating.....my MIL did it last night and it's just plain ignorant and rude......
And my latest is not sending cards/acknowledging family members for holidays and birthdays.....it's just plain thoughtless to ask a person what they want for their birthday ON THEIR BIRTHDAY.......complete lack of consideration...
OK, I might be done!

I get annoyed when you are talking with someone and they start looking over your shoulder and not at you. I always look a person in the eyes when they are talking. I find it really rude to look around at other things.

This is my ultimate pet peeve!! My mother does this all the time. It is soooo annoying. I don't eat meat, but I would never ever say "ewww" or anything when I see someone eating it. It's a personal choice!

I get annoyed when you are talking with someone and they start looking over your shoulder and not at you. I always look a person in the eyes when they are talking. I find it really rude to look around at other things.
I tend to do this b/c I have a lazy eye and when I try to focus in on something my eye crosses and I get embaressed(sp?) b/c almost all the time someone would comment ,so I just don't look at people in the eyes anymore unless I am wearing my glasses !
It drives me crazy when I go to a restaurant ,and I am sitting next to someone who decided to wear the whole bottle of perfume ! 
I also hate when people talk during a movie !

My #1 pet peeve is when you try to make plans with someone like a month in advance to accomodate them but they won't commit just in case something better comes up.
I specifically picked a day you are free and instead of committing to them, you need to wait and see if you will have something else to do by then!

People who stand RIGHT ON TOP of me while waiting in line. There is no reason for you to be breathing down my neck, it is not going to make the line move any faster. If I hit you with my purse 10 times, it is a clue-you are TOO CLOSE.

ITA!!! I was on the TKTS line in times square and this old man was rightontopofme. I kept inching forward- he kept inching forward. I swear his chest was touching my back
Another of my latest is from my teacher- he says "That's how come..." instead of "that's why..."
and "recepacle" instead of "recepTacle"

I hate when people want the world to stop because it's their birthday. They announce it to not only everyone they know, but to strangers in stores, out in public. "ITS MY BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!!" It's just really annoying attention seeking behavior.

PUSH the door - it's not my job to get you in or out of the building. Don't fake push either. I'll watch you walk into the glass.
Enter & Exit so there's a natural flow instead of cutting off people.

ooooor when you make very casual plans with someone, such as lunch at fridays and they come all dressed up, perfect hair and makeup! LOL at least give me a heads up so I can look presentable!

When you have a conversation with someone and their entire side is peppered with figures of speech, but they can't use them correctly!!
I have a friend like that and she says every single figure of speech incorrectly and uses them CONSTANTLY!!
