My first RE appt....
I made an appt to see the nurse practioner to explain the strange things that had been happening the last 2 months that we had been TTC.
My cycles have always been normal until now.
I think I may have had a chemical pregnancy in Sept. I had a very clotty, gross AF. I didn't get my egg on the CBEFM monitor until cycle days 23-24 the next month and I got AF 3 days later so that makes no sense at all.
I explained the strange cycles to the nurse practioner and they took CD 3 bloodwork. She referred me to the RE.
He was really nice. He said all the things I already knew but since I am over 35 we are going to take slow steps based on the results of my bloodwork to get me preggo sooner than later. The results were not back yet.
He said that if I don't get pregnant this month the next thing he would do was a water sonogram. I may have things going on that we don't know about. He said that was the least invasive and then we will go from there. I have to call Monday for the blood test results. I hope everything is OK.
He said the factors that could be causing all my strange symptome were:
1.age over 35
2. I work nights
3. I am causing myself too much stress TTC
4. I may have been preggo :(

I know it's hard to take that first step, but you are now putting yourself in the best hands for getting pregnant!
