oh my goodness - i am so much more than sorry...
if you need a shoulder - i am here. my uncle went through a VERY similar thing in September...and passed very quickly (stomach cancer).
prayers & thoughts with your family in this difficult time....

I am so sorry for your loss and totally feel your pain right now...I'm glad you got to say goodbye though, you will have such a sense of closure later since you were able to be there with him.

I am so so so sorry! It sounds so similar to my father's story. He had bladder cancer that spread to his lungs when he was 62. It quickly spread and was in his bones. He had back and shoulder pain in December and by the end of March he passed away....it was two weeks before my wedding. I had just left hospice for the night and my mother was still with him. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Thank you so much everyone. It's going to be tough but my friends and good friends make everything so much easier and will help me get through this difficult time.
A small part of me died yesterday with my Dad and a hole in my heart remains, but now my Father is in heaven with my Brother.
Thank you again for all of the support.
