My Birth Story
Ok, so most of you know that my birthday was 7/27 and I had my c-section 7/28....
DH took me out to dinner for my birthday and we had an amazing meal.. kind of like the last supper. 
I did not sleep a wink that night.
We checked into Greenwich Hospital at 8am and it was amazing. The L&D nurse's were great. They prepped me and I headed into the OR for my spinal.
The anethisiologist (no idead how to spell that) was AMAZING. I started to get really nervous before he did the spinal, he talked me through the whole thing. It hurt, but it wasn't too terrible.
His name was Dr. T- he talked me and DH throught he whole C-section.
Ok - we didn't find out what we were having. So when the Dr. was ready to pull the baby out, she asked everyone who was present in the OR to gather near here and they all screamed it in three- I lost my mind when they said it was a GIRL  My DH broke down crying- it was such an AMAZING moment- I am getting chills re- living it. DH kept asking me if this was dream- we were both overcome with joy.
It was so worth the wait- it was the best moment of my life and I am still riding high on that joy....
I am recovering nicely. Emily and I are still getting to know one another.

She is adorable!! Thanks for sharing your story. Whenever I hear (or read) birth stories like yours, it makes me even more excited for our birth. I hope you continue to feel good and enjoy your little girl.

OMG, she is beautiful! Congratulations 
I got all tery eyed at your story. What a wonderful way to find out. That is why DH and I are not finding out the sex of the baby until delivery. I think it will just be that much more emotional.

Sara thanks so much for sharing your story!
I'm glad that your experience went so well and you and the baby are doing good.. Emily is just beautiful!!
And when you described the moment you heard "its a girl" I got all choked up .. I'm sure it was an amazing experience for you and your DH!!
