My 9 month old has a fever...
I called the Dr. and spoke to the burse. I always thought I can give .8 of tylenol or whatever is on the market for fevers.
I have Little Fevers. The nurse told me I can give her 1.2ML every 4 hours????
She is 19 pounds. Does that soud like too much?
Also, some suggest giving Children's Tylenol inseatd of infants?

Re: My 9 month old has a fever...
Reading the chart I got from our ped:
Weight 13-18 lbs Infant drops (80 mg/.8 ml): 1.2 ml every 4-6 hours Syrup (160mg/tsp): 3/4 tsp
Weight 19-24 lbs Infant Drops: 1.6 ml every 4-6 hours Syrup: 1 tsp
That's for any acetaminophen.
Infant tylenol was recalled but little fevers should be acetaminophen I think.
We were always told when she was on the cusp of a weight to give the lower dosage.
I'm not a doctor. I'm totally just typing this from a piece of paper I got from the ped.
