Monday QOTD
since we just came off the weekend:
one thing i always think about is how weekend fun will change once we have a LO around. what's your idea of family fun as opposed to the way you spend weekends before the kiddies?
me? i'm looking forward to soccer games, camping, bringing blankets outside to toast marshmallows over the fire pit, pumpkin picking & hay rides, play dates @ the beach, trips to michael's for fun crafts, packing up the kids and the dog for picnics, and family movie nights all snuggled in the big bed

I cannot wait to do all sorts of family activities. There are so many things I want to do now but I know DH and I will look like weirdos if we don't have a kid with us

Currently DH and I dont really do much so I think once we have a LO we will be doing a lot more! I cant waitt o have picnics, go to the movies, festivals, etc.

ITA w/all that you listed. I am so looking forward to tons of games, playing make believe,its going to fun to have a chance to "be a kid" again

Dh and i do all the fun family things by ourselves like pumpkin picking, aquarium trips, zoo trips, festivals
so we are very excited to have a LO to do them with!!!
i aslo am looking forward to sunday dinners at my parents house! i grew up going to my grandparent shouse ever sunday for pasta dinner so that is something i look forward for my kids to do also! its great for our kids and my brothers kids to play and become close! i was very close with all my cousins growing up!

I cant wait for the family stuff! I have been going to bars since I was 17 (college bars - LOL) and I am so sick of it. We are always being invited to meet other people at bars. Why would I want to spend $100 or more at a bar when I can by a $10 bottle of wine and drink it at someone's house! I am SO over bars!
Anyway.....really looking forward to being outdoors more! Going for walks, park, fishing, pumpkin picking, fairs, beach! I would want to take the kids somewhere every weekend!

We can't wait to spend the days with out LO's and our friends (and hopefully their LO's too). Instead of going out like we do now we would hang out at home and make fun dinners and just enjoy our LO's and each other's company. Very low key, but hopfully something our children will remember for the rest of their lives.
ETA: We would still have our wine!

Im excited for the cousins to play together. I have a big immediate family and they are all having kids now... so I love seing them play together!
