Monday QOTD
When you were a little kid, when did you think you would be a mom?
I always wanted to be a young mom when I was a young. I wanted to be a mom around 23-25. I thought I'd want to be done with having kids by latest 30.
I ended up being a mom at age 30 and will probably be finished with having kids at age 35.

I thought 27 would be a great age to be a mom (and be married). I was wrong, I was no where near ready at 27! 33 Was a better age for me.

Not just yet, but maybe in the next couple of months. DH and I are still discussing, I come over here to "browse" I can's resist posting though.

My mom had me and my sister at ages 27 and 30. When I was little, I assumed I would do that too.
I didn't get married until almost 30, though, so here I am at 31 trying for my first...

I didn't think I ever wanted to have kids. It is weird, I thought for a long time I wouldn't and then one day, something just clicked.

I always thought I would be a very young mom since DH and have been together since we were 16 years old. However, life didn't work out that way and we had our DD at age 33 and we're now TTC #2 at age 35. We still would like 3 kids though.

always thought I would marry young and have kids young, like early-mid 20's. I got married at 27 and now we are trying for our first so a little off from what I "thought" would happen for me but not a big deal.

When I was in my twenties I always said I wanted to be done with having kids by 35. I think that is because I have a non woman friendly career and work crazy hours so I knew any younger wouldnt work for me.
Now I am 30 and feel like I hope that I will have 2 successful pregnancies by age 38-40 because this is taking way too long. I also never imagined I would have a M/C but I guess no one does.

i wanted to be done before 30 and have 2....i honestly thought i would have been pregnant already at 25...i always wanted to be a younger mom...i am hoping i am pregnant before my 26th - but we haven't even started trying yet - i am hoping we are ready around our 2 year wedding anniversary to try, that is the plan...originally the plan was to be trying this summer but neither one of us is ready just yet...

i don't know that I ever really thought about a specific age. .I def thought I would be married WAY before I was but it just happened really late for me. . was engaged when I was 35!! For me I knew I would never have kids on my own (no judgement for anyone who does - just knew I couldn't handle it) so now at 37 just got preg (PRAYING it sticks). . but felt super panicked that I was running out of time and it would never happen for us. . so def not what I would have envisioned but life gives us what it gives us!

I guess I always thought I'd have children by now, but really 30 sounded over the hill to me. As I've gotten older though things changed. My mom didn't have me till she was 29 and my sister was born when my mom was 41, a surprise, so it never seemed too old to me to have kids. Anyway, I got married at 32, even though we've known each other since we were 19, and we are starting to TTC next month, when we'll be 33.

I thought maybe around 25 I would have kids. I am almost 28 so I was a little off. I def would not have been ready at 25.

I always thought I would be young. As both my Mom and Grandmother were very young mothers. That is not the case I am 35 and am trying for #1

I thought I would be a young mommy, done with having children by my early thirties. Things don't always work out as planned, if I had stayed with my ex husband I may have been a young mommy, but everything else would have been wrong. I became a mommy at 31 with DH, my soulmate, who I didn't find till I was 29. So even though it wasn't what I had planned, I wouldn't want it any other way

When I was a kid, I always thought I'd be married by 25, start having kids by 27. However, got married when I was 26, and I am now going on 29 and no luck TTC...

I always wanted to be a young mom. I thought by 25 I would either be pregnant or have 1 child already. I still have a chance to be pregnant before I turn 26.

I wanted to be my mom's age when she had me. So I thought 26. Well that didn't happen. I'll be closer to 29

like never.
i never even thought i'd get married, let alone have kids. when i was young i didn't want them; only until i got older, had nieces and nephews, and met DH did i see myself as a mom.

My mom had me at the age of 22 and loved that I had young parents so I always envisioned myself being a young mom...well I got married fairly youngish at 25 but we waiting 3 years to travel and do all we wanted to do before having children..I'm happy that we did..but now that I'm 30 and trying for my second I'm hoping it won't be even harder for us...

i had my first at 21, and it was not planned but not prevented. so when it happened i wasnt totally shocked....but i never thought i would have a kid so young. i always wanted my first around 25-26
