MMR and flu shot together?
Did anyone do these together? I don't really like the idea but DD is starting daycare soon and I'm trying to squeeze these two in. As it is she'll probably get the MMR after she starts. I've been wanting to make her an apt but between perpetual colds (I don't want to give a vaccine while sick) and trying to keep the reaction time from coinciding with important events, I just keep postponing it.
I'm also wondering if I do give them separately, how far apart is ideal? I'm going to try to find some info online but I don't know what to believe with this stuff. Ugh.

Re: MMR and flu shot together?
My DD was due for her 2nd flu shot(the first time they get it they get 2 a month apart) and a few other vaccines at the same time. So the ped gave the flu shot and the MMR together, this was last month and now i am going today for chicken pox and hep). She was fine no reaction at all. I think if you do them separate they have to be a month apart.

We just did MMR, flu and chicken pox. Dc had a cold but doc insisted on the shots. He is a bit cranky and very runny nose, but nothing major.

MMR and flu shot together?
DD had them together at the end of Nov. She was fine and only developed a tiny measles-like rash on her tummy for about a day, which our ped. said could be a reaction to the MMR. It didn't bother her at all.

Re: MMR and flu shot together?
DD got flu and MMR at the same time. No reaction. She was also supposed to get the chicken pox vaccine, but I delayed that one. She had to wait one month to get it, but it ended up being 1.5 months because she was sick.
