My jaw was on the floor.. first when they crowned Colombia, because her responses was not all that great (I guess translation issues), and then when they took the crown from her! Terrible!

Society judges women enough.. We don't need pageants. Yeah, it sucks for miss whoever but I despise the whole thing so..
Agree! These pageants and the VS show are ridic. If I had daughters, I would hope / insist they not watch this crap (have only boys).
How humiliating for this woman. I feel really bad for her and I feel for the winner, her moment was taken away as well.

Yeah I never normally watch that silliness. I was flipping through last night and didn't feel like watching sports or The Sound of Music so I settled on that. Caught the last ten minutes or so. Epic.

Hey! It's not a pageant... it's a scholarship program. 
My entire point of reference for these shenanigans comes from Miss Congeniality. I'd never want my daughter to watch/participate in anything like this, but I do feel bad for Miss Columbia. That had to hurt! I actually feel bad for Steve Harvey, too- I've always thought he was funny and he's being ripped to shreds everywhere.

I feel so bad for both of them they both looked so embarrassed. Miss Columbia got the crown taken off her head and Miss Philippines didn't really get her moment she didn't know what do do. That was really mess up.

Act like a lady, think like a man..i work on his books at work and they are huge sellers.
in any case, he gives funny advice for women to understand how men think and set real expectations. I dont think its really teaching women how to act to land a man.
I am biased b/c I find Steve harvey pretty funny and like his shows & family feud.
an honest mistake that was handled pretty poorly. I feel bad for all involved, including Steve.

I just feel like "Philippines" is written so small and in the corner, generally where your hand would be covering it up, rather than lined up with the other two. I just feel bad for everyone involved!

Yes, an embarrassing moment, but Ms Colombia will be fine. She will be known at the 'almost' Ms.U and will gain many endorsements from this blunder due the massive social media traffic. If she has a good manager, she can use this blunder to her advantage and move on
heck, look at Jennifer Hudson, no Idol, yet Oscar AND Grammy winner

Great point and so true!
They are both beautiful but I was struck by Colombia, in particular, because she reminded me of Sofia Vergara and she is just breathtaking! And she seemed very well spoken, poised, and like a nice woman.

When he announced the correct winner, the runner up should've taken the crown off her head and handed it over. It was very weird to watch! But I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing was staged just for ratings.
i am a little late to the party but I said that to DH - but they didn't show Miss Columbia's reaction AT all which makes me think if it was fixed, she certainly was not a part of it otherwise they would have panned on her reaction face.

I agree - that was painful to watch.
the former Miss U looked so awkward - and also Miss P - the whole thing looked so bad, and I think it kind of destroyed the winner's experience if it was for real (I mean the REAL winner).
