We have this one to be installed when our siding is done later this month. I wanted one of the stand alone ones, but there wasn't a logical place to put it in our front landscaping.

We bought this one from Home Depot.
Except we got it in hunter green as our siding is tan.
ETA: We love this! The newspaper man puts the paper in the bottom slot, so it doesn't get soaked in the snow/rain.

this is ours..we had it painted with our address on it though. i love the handpainted ones..

The company that produces the actual box is Whitehall. Do a search for free shipping. I'm pretty sure Frontgate is overpriced. Just my $.02.

These are what mine look like. Of course, I live in a huge apartment building but I think this would be a really funny way to confuse your mailman if you just set this up outside your house  Image Attachment(s):

i just got it so i'm hoping it holds up well.the company sent instructions on how to keep it safe in the weather. just some stuff that is sold at a hardware store.

We just have a plain regular mailbox on the side of the house, but I want to get a mail slot very soon. I grew up with one and it was awesome. You didnt have to worry about overflow when you go away or letting on that you are not home.
