Mailboxes
Anyone have either of these??? I think I am going with the first. Just have to talk myself into spending $$ on a mailbox Image Attachment(s):

Re: Mailboxes
I like the first one. I cannot believe the prices of a mail box. Crazy.
The one I want is I think $100 at fortunoffs......

Re: Mailboxes
I love the first one, too. We were going to get one with a post, but just decided to replace the one on our wall.
We also saw one at Fortunoff's that we liked (it's $149). I still want to shop around a bit, though.

Re: Mailboxes
OMG - I had no idea how expensive mailboxes were! I just looked at the HD website and
We bought my house from my in-laws and my FIL was quite a card and attached a long pole to the top of the mailbox with another mailbox on top labeled "Bills" ...
Humorous as it may be, it is not exactly my idea of nice home decor.
I talked my DH into replacing it and he agreed. Thank goodness

Re: Mailboxes
I have the first one. I can tell you that 5 years later it is still in great shape, although it really was just too much money.

Re: Mailboxes
I will vote for #1 because that is the one I have. My MIL and FIL bought it for us.

Wow - I can't believe the prices! I thought we spent a lot!
We have this post: $129 from Lowes
With a pretty box on top (But I can't find a pic of it... It was around $60 from Lowes)... Similar to this one

Re: Mailboxes
I have this Victorian mailbox (without the address plaque). It looks pretty, but the paint is starting to chip. Image Attachment(s):
