Has this been posted? Warning, the language is very strong, but I think it is worth reading... makes me even more convinced on my stand on the war.

I don't know if this is real or not. If it is, I can't say I know how this person feels because I have not walked in her shoes. However, what I can say is that I wholeheartedly agree with everything that was written.

Well, at least back when my dad was active duty military, not too many people would call attention to the fact that they didn't support the President. There are a lot of specifics in here (which branch they were both in, number of tours, age of child, etc) that would make it very easy for the department of defense to figure out who this person and most people would rather not rock the boat. But the internet wasn't as common as it is now and we were not at war when my dad was active duty, so maybe things are different now.

If it IS true, her emotions are so raw right now, she probably doesn't acre too much about repercussions......

i am so glad that you posted this - i completely agree with you.
I am sorry if that sounds terrible, but I consider myself a pretty compassionate person - and this letter just doesn't seem genuine. I have no real reason for saying this - just a "gut" feeling, i guess.
