DS is 11 months old and everytime he sees grandpa (my dad), he crawls over to him and unties his shoelaces  Only grandpa, no one else.
ETA: we just discovered that he learned how to drink out of a straw sippy, all by himself!!!!! 
We started leaving the cup around 2 days ago while he was playing and he'd try to drink, throw it and roll it around. Well lo and behold, today he started guzzling his water through it.   So proud of my boy!!!!!!!

Ryan knows just about every word to the Best of Laurie Berkner album and will sit, with guitar, and play us a concert - every night. It's adorable, and he's talented 
He has been pee potty trained for a month now and poop we're at 90% ( for the other 10%)
Colin just lights up the world with his smile. Nuff said.

DD is completely potty trained - pee and poop on the potty, dry overnight (she's been dry overnight since about 26 months!)...she just turned 3 in August
DD is SUCH a "people person"...she always tries to get the other kids to play!
I could go on all day!!

Well.. my kids are older but I like to brag too!
Robbie just got invited to be evaluated for the SEED program at his school based on outstanding test results on ELA's, Terra Nova and Cognitive Abilities scoring.
Noah was being picked on in school by 2 kids (because he is very small). He finally told one "I AM going to grow bigger but you are just going to grow uglier because you are mean!" I know that it's probably NOT a good thing that he said that - but I'm sorry that kid deserved it! I'm glad he stuck up for himself.
ETA: I looove all these brags. It makes me miss having smaller kids. And..FWIW.. they all sound like budding geniuses to me!

For all the good news!
Connor took 3 mini steps this morning. He was taking one step here and there, so this made mommy very proud
Also he has been a napping machine! Nap time was always a struggle but lately he's been taking great naps!

Chels has mastered the art of eating with utensils, she ONLY wants to eat with utensils...she has better manners than her Daddy, she wants her pizza cut up and she wants to eat it with a fork, she loves her utensils She's also speaking much better and clearer and sleeps 13 hours a night and still takes one nap a day

my DD started pre-k yesterday and there were no tears.. when I took her back today- she was STILL excited to go.
This is a major accomplishment.. last year for nursery it was horrible- she cried and carried on and I had to stay in the class w/ her for a week b/f I could separate.

There is a book (I think the name is where is babys belly button?)where you have to pull down or pull up flaps to expose a babys eyes, hands, feet etc and when I read it to Lara she knows where all the parts are she is very smart
And my bff's came over this weekend and one of them gave lara a little plastic pumpkin. I put this tiny pumpkin amoungst a ton of her other toys and when i said go bring momma your pumpkin she knew what and where it was I was shoked dont know if thats a big deal but I thought it was

DS was so brave on his second day of school. He's got severe seperation anxiety so this was HUGE for him
DD is about do back to belly rolling (she did belly to back at 1 month)

My big boy is officially fully potty trained! I was keeping my fingers crossed that it happened before his 3rd Birthday and it did He wears big boy undies and uses pull-ups for naps and bed time!

Bryan, age 3.5: Pee Pee trained (no where near poops, but we'll get there)
Takes the bus to Pre-K and LOVES it.
LOVES School.
Is talking up a storm. Still a bit hard to understand at times, but, we can have conversations. 
Carolynn, age 16 months (14 adjusted)
LOVES to play "soooo big".
LOVES looking at herself in the mirror and saying (Ok, babbling) "Yeah, Im ALL that"..LOL
Gets sooo excited when she sees DS.
Is also now standing against the couch, no front support

I will brag (and complain )
DD in the last week, has crawled, pulled herself up, and gets into sitting position all on her own.
While is this great, she's only 7 months, it has completely ruined all of her sleep (naps and bedtime) because she just wants to move!!

She can follow an age appropriate 2-3-step directive.

we dropped DD off at her pre-school on her second day (hi again KARA!!!) and at first I thought she didn't want to go. Came over ot me with her head down, and shook her head no.
But then, she go ton line and turned and waved good bye with a big smile on her face.

it is lowered we moved it down 3 notches the other night!!! the last one is almost to the groud, i cant even reach the mattress lol ig uess if this continues i'll have to deal and move it the last one
