Leftovers
DH and I won't eat leftovers unless it lasagna or baked ziti. Anyone else not eat leftovers? I try not to have waste so I cook just enough, but I am beginning to to think we are a little crazy

No, we're not big leftover eaters. They just sit in the fridge till I clean it out. Unless it's leftover veggies. I'll eat those. I try as hard as I can to cook only what we're going to eat.

There are certain things we'll eat leftover, pasta, chicken cutlet. We will not eat chinese leftover, I hate it reheated!!

I will say this, however....last time I made ziti and a big pot of sauce, I froze part of the sauce and the ziti...well, I took it out this morning to defrost, and I just tasted some. HOLY CRAP! It tastes SOOOOOOO much better when you didn't just spend hours making it!

I hate leftovers. I have a thing with them where after a day I think the food is spoiled and will not touch it.

I agree! Anything that saves me from cooking an additional weeknight meal is OK in my book. Also, I find it hard to cook exactly the right amount for 2 people.

We have leftover night at the end of the week. That way everyone gets to pick what they liked best to eat.

I've learned that the only way to eat leftover Chinese is to cook it on the stovetop. Turns out soooo much better!

I purposely make leftovers.
My mom's neighbor today said she has never eaten leftovers. If it doesn't get eaten the night she makes it she throws it out.

We usually take our leftovers for lunches or save them for dinner a few days later. Most times I will make enough to freeze a portion for a meal later on
