I'll say the only time it would be annoying is if you have a kid who constantly screams for no reason. Not just playing. Our old neighbor had a pool and the kids would scream like they were drowning in the pool. I couldn't see them from my house to know if they were just playing or if any adult was actually out there or his brother was trying to kill him. Or the kid near us who whines on the top of her lungs over every.little.thing. I mostly tune her out though. If my kid did that I'd tell her to knock it off.
