I'd go for the pizza and salad option.

I'd do the wraps. Easy to eat and you can get a variety.

I'd just go with more pies. In those party places there's not much room for the adults to sit or even relax and it goes fast. If it was at your house or at a park where there's more room I'd go for wraps or ziti tray. For an indoor party place where parents are watching their kids and not much room just some extra pies.

Kids Party- Adult food option question--
pizza.
in places like this, i believe pizza is something they are least likely to screw up and it's something parents would expect. plus it's something that is usually easy to hold and walk with or eat standing up.

Re: Kids Party- Adult food option question--
I awalys just do pizza. Why because its usually the cheapest option and after spending all the money on the kid protion I am not looking to spend a ton of money to feed the adults. I know I am cheap
that said I voted pizza for the reason above but I always think its nice and fancy when people have wraps and hot food.
I personally am fine with whatever is served if I like it I wil eat it if I don't I won't!

Not to mention pizza happens to be God's perfect food. Forget manna from Heaven, it's pizza!

Re: Kids Party- Adult food option question--
I would do pizza because its easy to freeze if there is leftover. Hot food is nice, but the food part is only 30 mins and it takes at least 10 mins before the first adult takes food. Everyone else just looks at it.

Re: Kids Party- Adult food option question--
Do the pizza but only 3 or 4 pies. Most people if they do eat will only eat one slice of pizza.

Pizza or wraps, stuff that is easy to eat standing up. Salad or ziti is too fussy.

I’d do the wraps. It’s easy to grab, and parents probably have way too much pizza as it is.

Kids Party- Adult food option question--
Am I the only one who thinks this should stop being a thing? Its a kids birthday party the kids are going to be going crazy doing their stuff. Pizza gets served for the kids, but I really don't care if there is food for us. I'll have a slice when its offered and eat it, partially out of obligation, but really, 1 slice is more than fine. I never look at a kids birthday party and expect that this is going to be my dinner/lunch.
there is like 15 minutes of food, the less mess and effort the better. get 2 adult pies cut in 16s and call it done.
not that there is any option for this, but I wish they served good coffee during the play time for the adults to consume and skipped any food for us.

Personally I feel differently. You are asking people to give up a few hours of their busy weekend to come help celebrate your child's birthday and bring a gift. The kids are having a great time playing with their friends, the adults don't want to be there. At all. They are their for their kids and to be their for your kid's birthday. The least you can do is offer them some pizza. In the scheme of the money spent on these parties a few pies won't kill anyone financially. And I happen to like to eat. I know it's an unpopular sentiment among women as we try to pretend we are these delicate butterflies who only eat a kale salad once a day and that's it, but I'm freaking hungry and I don't care who knows it! Even if I ate lunch and the party is at 3 pm, I'm wolfing down a slice of pizza if it's offered. It helps to pass the long, tortuous 2 hours standing around, if nothing else.

More than food, I really appreciate when wine is offered

OMG I once went to a 4 year old bday party for a girl from DD"s daycare and it was at the clubhouse of the parent's condo complex. The mom had wine and beer for the adults. I was so taken aback and surprised I wanted to kiss this woman. To this day, she is my hero!

After a certain age (6-7) kids should be dropped off and parents should write it in the invite “feel free to drop off your child”. Bday parties at outside places are so expensive as it is, but convenient and fun. I say most parents dont expect to eat but its a bonus to get a slice and water or soda. I would buy pizza - once slice per parent/per kid, NOT for TWO parents per kid. Since when does another kids bday party become a couples outing with their child!?

Yes when I started getting invites for DD once she hit 1st grade with those glorious words written on them..."Drop off please" I damn near cried tears of joy!

We did this when my DS had a lego party and the parents really were just sitting. Got coffee while they were doing the lego activity.
To the OP, I would get food because it's a Friday and people are running around like nuts to get someone after work/school.
Pizza or wraps, my BFF did Chic Fil A once and that was fun, lol
