Kid allergy HELL. What to do?

My poor kid is clawing his eyes out. This is with taking Allegra twice a day. Eyes bright red and puffy. Sneezing. Didn't have this last year ...this came on sudden and fierce.

What else can i do? Is there some prescription ? Eye wash ? Anything?

My little guy is suffering worse than ever this year. He is on Claritin and I am even throwing in some Benadryl here and there. Bringing him to the dr. tomorrow.

Change clothes when he comes in from inside, and wash hands and face and wipe down his arms and legs. Saline spray for nose and eye (tell him to close eyes and squeeze the drop in the corner and then tell him to open). Raw local honey is supposed to be effective against combatting allergies. I take quercetin but don't know how to dose that for a child.

If your dc is old enough, have them eat a little bit of locally grown to you honey, not a national brand. Change all clothing the minute you walk in the door. No shoes inside of the house. Vacuum with a heppa filter.

Going through this with my 4&5 year old. Both are on zyrtec daily with benadryl on bad days, nasonex nasal spray & pataday script eye drops. Yesterday my 4 year old eyes were swollen shut. Dr said not much more you can do in terms of Meds. They are washed down immediately upon coming in, clothes changed & washed in hot water, no windows open, CAC running non stop.

DS is on prescription allergy meds from an allergist. He gets really bad and highly allergic to pollen. As tough as it is I try to keep him in this time as much as possible and keep the AC on.
He takes his meds every morning. I also use allergy eye drops that I keep in the fridge per the allergist. Wash his hands and face each night well in the shower and let the water run on his face and I use Head and Shoulder shampoo bc he gets so itchy. He also has prescription shampoo when he had bad eczema, but seemed to outgrow that. He's been on this med since 3 and he's going to be 6 soon. I start him on it in March and will stop in June when it's over.

OMG my DD's eyes are soo swollen and her face has so many bumps from her scratching at it. She couldn't even go to school today. I feel sooo bad for her. Took her to the Dr and he said there really isn't much to do but to try to keep her indoors in AC, which is really hard. He gave me a prescription to Singular (sp?) and Pataday eye drops. I really feel soo bad for these kiddies, I really do. She was crying that she hates allergies. I can't wait for it to just go away!

The pollen is a triple whammy this spring. Everything is blooming at the same time... It is really bad. Been on the news.. My son has been home form school the last 2 days because he is that bad. He is on 3 meds one is prescription. Keeping him indoors with the a/c on....
