Allergy Hell Anyone?
OMG my allergies have been God awful yesterday and today. It's at the point where the pills aren't even helping other than to maybe take the edge off a little.
I always have bad fall allergies but yesterday and today take the cake.
Anyone else?

Re: Allergy Hell Anyone?
I'm getting over a cold, but I know that some of my symptoms are allergies: itchy eyes and dry scratchy throat.
DH had terrible allergies yesterday...he suffers from allergies year-round and yesterday was just awful for him.

Yes, it had to be that. All that wind really must have whipped up the ragweed and mold spores. I have been a mess since Saturday

Allergy Hell Anyone?
Yes, yes and yes! I am such an allergy nerd anyway, but the past 2 days have been hell. I swear it's water-based for me. Every time it's rainy, it's like it sets off a moldy germy boiling pot. Not a day goes by where I don't blow my nose, but this is insane!

Re: Allergy Hell Anyone?
Yup both my boys are suffering. My youngest had such swollen tonsils he could barely swallow but no other symptoms. Dr said it's allergy related. I've been using our essential oils in overdrive & it's really working

I read that in the fall ragweed is high and so is MOLD. they say mold spores grow in wet piles of leaves, etc- so it makes sense. Then the wind blowing everything around this weekend- mold spores, ragweed, etc. I am glad it's not just me, but sorry to all who are miserable. Never thought I'd say this, but the winter freeze will be a welcome site!
ETA- does any take prescription meds? I have tried, claritin, allegra, zyrtec and even a script from my doc last year. Nothing works great when it's this bad. You would think they'd have something better out there....

Is that an asthma med? Is it used for seasonal allergies too?

What are essential oils you use? I don't have allergies but the dr is saying dd does, so I'm new to all this! She has been terrible for a month now. Last night was the worst. Please enlighten me

It is, but it can also be used for allergies. He takes it daily, year-round. He deals with allergies no matter what season it is, and it's one of those drugs that you need to take daily so it can build up in your system and work effectively.
He tried to take is "as needed"...it was a disaster!
