Just Got My Basal Therm & now...wait for it......a question..
YAY - just got it - so temping, here i come.
I'm CD2...should i wait until my cycle is complete to start temping - or do it now - no waiting??

i agree. keep in mind that it may take you a few months to see a pattern. i temped for about 6 months and it was the best thing i ever did. it taught me SO much about my body.

okay - so i got my temp this morning...here's the issue.....
i have no idea what time it was when i first 'awoke' from my sleep - but it was before the alarm (could be 1 hour, could be 20 minutes). i woke up and went right back to sleep and again, when the alarm went off for dave - i woke up and fell back to sleep....
am i okay to have used today's temp? I read that you should have 3 hours of sleep minimum before a temp is good...

i think if you briefly woke up, didn't get out of the bed and went right back to sleep you are okay.

Jess, maybe it would be better to just start tomorrow.
I've found that an hours time change makes a BIG difference in my temps.
The other day, I woke up at 5:05 and thought I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep so I took my temp and it was 97.2. Then I DID end up falling back asleep and woke up again at 5:45 and took my temp and it was 97.72! HUGE difference!

now my main problem will be that i'm a VERY light sleeper and have a tendency to always wake up before the alarm (unless i'm DEAD tired)...
let me see what happens tomorrow...
