Just feeling...
really displaced and lonely today.
Moving is hard, and not having a routine or a home that feel like my own is getting me down today. It's been 4 days and I really hope to get over that hump quickly.
I forget what it's like to not know where to get my nails done, pants shortened, etc. Also working from home is lonely....
I know this will pass...just a little tough right now.

Sorry you are having a rough day. Relocating and such is a major adjustment. But at least when you are feeling a little blue you still have the familiarity of LIF to provide a little pick me up!

I know how you're feeling. When we moved to Chicago I thought all of the same things and I had no job either so it was hard not really meeting people. It will get better!!!! Soon!!!

Have you joined a gym in your area? i find that going to the gym makes me feel a little less isolated when i am new to an area. Especially if you can take classes and meet some of the others!
Don't worry though, you will get used to it soon!

Yes I have...just haven't gone yet. I will go tomorrow morning though...that will get me started. Also going to start at a yoga school...

that's fantastic. I even find if you dont really talk to that many people, just seeing a few of the same people every morning and the same instructors helps.....

I totally know how you're feeling. When I was 20 I moved to AZ by myself. I had come from a very tight knit group and always had something to do.
I called my Mom telling her I wanted to come home. She convinced me to stick it out for 1 semester and I did.
I met people at the pool in the beginning-are you living in an apt complex.
I also met most of my friends at work. I was a waitress in a large restaurant. Can you do that? I have a friend that just moved back to Atlanta-she is very into working out which I think you are too...let me know if you want her e-mail or something
