Just a lttle thought I've been having...
I never posted on here cause I 'thought' I didn't want a baby. Now that I am getting divorced it's sad to think I just didn't want a child cause I felt like my DH wouldn't be a good dad and didn't want kids. Now I have hopes of meeting someone I know will be a great dad and want kids and coming on this board in the future to post good news. Thanks for listening and I am so happy for all the new soon to be mommies.

i have no doubt that you will find someone to have a family with-it's amazing to think that you might not have realized this desire to have a family unless all this happened to you. i know that sounds silly and all but i think it is wonderful that you are thinking about it like you are. i truly hope to see you on this board one day! many good thoughts and  for your happiness! you truly deserve it!

You have such an amazing outlook.
Your soon-to-be-ex did you a favor with this. It allows you to move from him and in a better direction for you.
There are tons of men that would give their right arm to date a woman like you so it will just be a matter of when you are ready.

As you go thru this very rough time I would really try to think of all the really great things this divorce will open you up to. You've already realized it will now allow you to find a man that you can have children with, but it will also allow you the opportunity to find someone that gives you the love and respect that you deserve!

Karissa, you just articulated how I've been feeling for a year or more. I've always known I wanted another child and I knew as long as I was with STBX, it would never happen. I felt sad and even jealous when my friends would be working on or having their 2nd, 3rd kids, etc. and I knew my journey as a mother was over Now I can look to the future and hopefully find someone who can share my dreams of a larger family and give me the kiddos I want
's & 's that our Mr. Right's don't take too long finding us
