I am really really shocked that she posted this. I am NOWHERE near as "modest" as them and I never have/never would post a pic like this. I cannot wrap my head around her doing this! I imagine her parents are pretty horrified.

 I'm sorry, I cannot get over this picture!
I thought they supposedly shelter these kids from everything? Only using a very restricted portion of the internet with supervision, only watching their own Christian videos, etc. She sure caught on FAST for someone who should (in theory) have never seen a picture like this and grew up swimming in basically a sweat suit for modesty purposes.
I am SO curious as to how her parents are reacting to this. Hell, my mother is just a strict Catholic and would give me crap if I posted a picture like this!

They are young and they are like the new age teenagers now with their phones and pictures, even though they are 19 and 22.
I am actually really happy she wouldn't let his hand go, frontal hugged and put up this picture. She probably had enough of the "Jill is the most perfect child" crap her parents were spewing when she got married and seems to be a little rebellious.

I think once they get married, they are not their "property" anymore as they basically turn them over to their husbands.
She basically told them FU when she was holding hands with Ben that day as she looked right at her parents and just smirked.
I think they get how she is and that is why they said those things about Jilly Muffin.

But he was living in their guest house - and Jessa seems pretty smart--I am sure they could have figured something out.    That frontal hug at their engagement didn't seem like their first either.
I don't know if this pic is that scandalous in their world. JimBob always has his hands all over Michelle in public. They like to show off the privileges of married life.
