I had a friend who was in jail & then got out. A few years ago, he went to visit his father in another state suddenly. I haven't been able to contact him since (well, I stopped trying a long time ago). I have a funny feeling I know where he is 
ETA: It was all drug related.

Sadly, my father's cousin, who was a Rabbi, was in jail for 5 years. It was absolutely shocking and devastating to my family. 
ETA: I don't know anyone currently in jail.

no one from my family, but I did marry into a huge crime ridden family.
At the current time, 2 uncles and 4 cousins are in prision...
Its a revolving door of relatives.

Not right now, but DH has a couple friends from high school who did time for selling drugs. A friend's stepson was in for getting into a fight, but it was a group of guys and they were tried as gang violence.

Yes...My sister's sil ex husband, it was in the paper last year he killed someone also drug related and I think he is loser and i hope he stay's there for life... I knew this guy was bad news from day 1

My cousin was in jail for tax evasion.... I think he's out now. I don't know for sure now bc whenever I ask my aunt about how he's doing, she just says fine. It's one of those taboo subject, no one in the family was supposed to know.

none of my friends or family....
but my cousin's friend was for almost a decade..... for home invasion and rape...
He would call my aunt's house at christmas, and everyone would pass around the phone and say hi... I always passed on that.... I see no need to make me cheer up a rapist on christmas.

My uncle might be....not quite sure. He's been in jail 2-3 times so far in 2006, so he might be back there again.
He completely deserves it though...drunk driving, domestic abuse, fighting, etc...he's kind of a mess.
