IVF Update: Failed **12/1
I don't have a journal but here is a quick snapshot:
Age: 33
DH: 30
TTC since 1/08
1 failed IUI with clomid
1 ectopic through IUI with clomid (led to losing a tube)
1 failed IUI with injectables
10/30:
I've been on Lupron since 10/17 and now it's FINALLY time to start stimming! I'll be using the Gonal Pen and Menopur. BW and Sono's every other day. Here we go..
11/9:
16 eggs and high estrogen so they are coasting me. The high estrogen concerns me but I'll keep hoping for the best. I'm bloated but not too uncomfortable .. yet! Looking at Thurs or Friday Egg Retrieval...
11/13:
ER done! 11 eggs/9 fertilized. ET on Sunday or Tuesday! I'm feeling great today just a bit sore but nothing too bad. Happy to be at this stage - finally!!!
11/18:
Day 5 ET was done yesterday. We transferred 2 and froze 5 (2 didn't make it from the original 9). I've been on bedrest and going back to work tomorrow. I'm feeling great - a bit crampy but otherwise okay.
Let the waiting begin - should I even bother with a HPT or just wait for my blood test on 11/30?
12/1:
We found out yesterday that we ended up with a "Chemical Pregnancy". After almost 2 years of infertility you think you've got a handle on understanding things but this one is a hard pill to swallow. The one good thing is that we have 5 wonderful embryos waiting for us, so we'll be moving onto an FET cycle. I hope to have success with that! Thanks for all your support during this 7 week process. You girls are great!
