I've got some news!
That I can share! 
I got a new job this weekend! It's early hire, so I don't know exactly what grade, or what school I'll be teaching at, but I definitly have a job in the district! 
So DH and I will offically be moving up to the DC area this summer! I'm so excited - as beautiful as the valley is, it's far too rural for me!
Just wanted to share my excitement!

my cousins that line in Alexandria (the ones i told you about)- one of them is a Teacher (HS though)-- but if its anywhere near there- let me know if you want me to have her find anything out for you!! (She's one of the extremely resourceful people)

Thanks!! Which county does she work in? I'll be in Fairfax, and one of the places we're looking to live is next to Alexandria.
I'm just going to start e-mailing principal's... i know there's a 3rd grade opening at a friend's school - and i really want 3rd grade, but it's GT, so I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be with that.
We'll see though.
