its been a long time...
Hello ladies, I have not been on since right before our daughter was born, its been soooooo hectic. Figured I would vent here...
So, I had the baby, moved into our house, went back to work...things were moving quite nicely then my husband had a horrible accident at work
He almost died. I never was so scared in my life. He is finally out of the hospital and home, but it will be at least 5 mos before he can even think about going back to work.
Now, everything is on me, I have to do everything from baby stuff, cleaning, cooking, paying the bills, driving him to the Dr's and so on. I can't even leave the baby with him if I need to go out and run errands. Either I have to bring the baby with me, or rely on a family member to babysit. It is soooooo stressful!!!
I am extremely grateful that he is alive and expected to make a full recovery but I am also so stressed right now. This should be the best time in our lives and I am constantly worrying.
Thanks for letting me vent here. I don't want to let hubby know that I am feeling this way because I know that he feels bad enough.

I'm so sorry to hear this all happened What about hiring a "mother's helper" for the summer at least? Maybe for a couple of hours a day just so you can get stuff done. There's tons of capable high school and college students looking to make some extra cash in the summer.

I am so sorry for all you are going through. Thank God that he is alright because as hard as it is now imagine how much worse it would be.
When did you have the baby? How is she?

Just remember you are doing great and things will not be this way forever. If some things don't get done (like vacuuming or dusting), so be it. Take a moment for yourself at least once a day, just to clear your head. I'm sorry things are not as you imagined, and I hope that your husband is better soon. Many to you - hang in there!

So sorry you're going though this! I'm glad that your DH is going to be okay, but I can only imagine how stressed you must be. If you can let some things go for now like housework then do it. That's a lot for one person to take on. It's hard enough just having a new baby to take care of. Do you have any family or friends that can come help you out with things or watch the baby for a while so you can have some time for yourself?

Thank you for all of your responses. It means a lot that I can come on here and vent a little and get so much support and hugs!!
For those who asked, he fell from a ladder (25ft) and landed in the street. He was at work.
The Dr's are amazed that he is even walking!!! Thank God he will make a full recovery. We went to the Dr's today and he said that he can return to normal activity and work in at least 4 mos.
I am off for the summer so that will help. I will have to bring him to physical therapy 3 x's a week.
Thank you all once again!! I am sure I will be back soon to vent. I miss coming to this site. I hope all is well with everyone and if I am not back on soon, have a wonderful 4th of july!!
