Re: Itchy Tummy
Put lotion on... Like belly butter... Or I got an oil from amazon that I love putting on... Has a pretty light scent and is really moisuturizing... Its called Earth Mama Angel Baby Natural Stretch Oil. It supposedly helps prevent stretch marks as well as prevent itchy belly, dont know if thats true, but I love the scent and how moisturizing it is. And when I use it I dont itch...
Plus its all natural no toxins no parabens nothing...

Re: Itchy Tummy
I use basq oil after a shower so the skin sucks it up better - massage that oil on that belly! Oh, I also do this after I gently loofah my belly in the shower to get the old skin off
I also use the basq stretch mark butter before bed. Again, massage it in well!
I've been moisturizing religiously twice a day. My belly has not been itching but my legs have. I don't pay them the same amount of attention
I'll be 32 weeks tomorrow and I've been doing what I can to ward off stretch marks

WHERE DID YOU GET THE OIL AND BUTTER?
My friend sent me a gift set when I announced I was pregnant. I guess she was really concerned for me about getting stretch marks
I've bought it since at motherhood/destination maternity/pea in pod store. $35 for a small tub of the butter I've looked online to try to get it cheaper but I've only found it for like $34.
I got a lot of stretch marks during puberty so I am shocked I haven't gotten any yet from the pregnancy so I'm scared to try another cream they have me where they want me!

Re: Itchy Tummy
I use Burt's Bees belly balm every day and have had little or no stretch marks or itching. I got it in my christmas stocking but I'm sure it's easy to find.

Re: Itchy Tummy
I use palmer's cocoa butter for stretch marks during the day & at night when i'm lounging around I use Motherlove Pregnant Belly Salve (b/c it's sort of greasy)
I am 30 weeks & have yet to develop a stretch mark (knock on wood!!!)
Although I think I read no matter how much lotion you put on, stretch marks are genetic & if you are meant to get them, u will get them no matter what you do, but I'll be dammed if I'm not going to try everything I can just in case! LOL
