Tummy time is evil!
I just had to spend an hour calming the baby down after barely 5 minutes of tummy time. He totally FREAKED out!!! I mean he was screaming bloody murder.
He's never reacted this way before. Any advice?

No real advice. Are you using a playmat or just floor/bed? I found if I put a toy in front of him be OK for a few minutes until he realizes he's on his tummy. I don't worry too much bc I know he has strong neck muscles. Whenever you lean him up against a pillow he's always trying to pick himself up so he can sit up.

Ava HATED and I mean HATED tummy time. I found that holding her on my lap or on my chest while I layed down helped a little.

Give it some time, my son hated it at first. We started with about five minutes at a time. Fast foward a month and half, he now loves being on his stomach.

Same with us.. Its hard at first. WHen we first started I would only have him on his tummy for a very short time. He let me know when he had enough... NOW he loves it.

here too...although its hard to listen to the crying in the beginning :(
