It showered in the Trini household!
My husband coordinated with my mom and threw me a beautiful outside baby shower in our backyard. We were surrounded by family and friends who love us so much and were extremely generous to us! We got all of our big ticket items and more! Our little man is set for a long time!
We enjoyed ourselves until the wee hours of the night...we played Baby Bingo, did the diaper raffle and then opened the gifts and enjoyed the rest of the evening, which turned out to be beautiful despite the hot, humid day. The food was delicious (it was catered by Iavarone Bros.) and there was a lot of drinks, etc.
I have a few pictures to share with you, which were taken from my camera...I don't know what happened but it ran out of memory but then others took over so I should have a lot of shots for you soon.
I also wanted to mention that its a good idea to have the shower 2-3 months before you're due...it really gets hectic and overwhelming and tiring to open up all the gifts...its something to consider.
Once again, I wanted to say what a great time we had, and we were so grateful for everything that we received...so many thoughtful and unique gifts. My good friend Anita (MrsGreek) was also in attendance and I was so happy to have her there...we love you girl and can't wait to celebrate these special moments with you in the future! 
ETA: A big thanks and credit goes out to my friend AGA who recommended MyBabyShowerFavors.com for personalized cookies as favors...they were so cute, fresh, delicious and not expensive at all! Thanks girl!

I am so happy I could join you in your special day! I can't wait to finally meet Baby Trini and hold him in my arms!!!!!
I had a great time (it was one of the best baby showers I have been to) and I must add your husband did an AMAZING job that day (and your mom too)....poor guy didn't sit down for a moment!!!! It was just simply beautiful!!!!!
I love you girl and can't wait to be there when your little guy arrives!!!!
