Jesss, duh.

Is your man a "manly" man?

DH has cried at 2 movies. Both of which I absolutely sob at no matter how often I've seen them:

A Walk To Remember
Life As A House

Have you ever seen your DH cry at a TV show or movie?

Never at a TV show or movie.

I have only seen him cry 2 times since I have known him and both times he didn't cry for longer than a minute.

I've never seen DH cry, period. he's gotten teary eyed, but never from a movie. only during private moments between the 2 of us.

to answer your Q, my DH is 100% a "manly man". he has a softer side too, only I see it though Chat Icon

Re: Is your man a "manly" man?

he doesn't cry for movies but for more serious stuff.
He is a very manly man and sometimes it takes him awhile to really express his emotions.

Re: Is your man a "manly" man?

I have seen FH "tear up" twice - one was at his grandfather's funeral and one was at his friend's dad's funeral.

By tear up - I mean his eye sucked the moisture back in before the tear fell out

I want to tell his brother to throw some pepper in his eye as I walk down the aisle so that my dream comes true and he cries when he sees me

Re: Is your man a "manly" man?

I have seen DH cry a few times (when his friend died, when our dd was born, when he was saying his vows)

He is emotional and I would not have it any other way...he is very "tough" on the exterior but he is truly a mush Chat Icon

Re: Is your man a "manly" man?

I've seen him tear up or get choked up over something personal. I don't know if he's ever gotten upset over a movie though.

And yes, he's still a manly man.

Re: Is your man a "manly" man?

DH sometimes cries (silently) at sad movies. he sobbed several times when we found out his dog had cancer and again when we had to put him down Chat Icon

i still think he's manly, though - he kills all my spiders and carries all my heavy bags Chat Icon
