Is the cord wrapped around my baby's neck?
I had 3d sono and was just looking at each picture - and started to wonder if the cord is around my baby's neck??
Can you look and tell me what you think??

Hmm, it's hard to tell, but it looks like something there. Did your OB do these sonos or did you go somewhere else? I would probably show these pics to your doctor to know for sure.

I would call your dr to ask him to look at it again. I have no idea as to what I'm looking at, but if I were in your position I would call just to have piece of mind. GOod luck!

Hmm . I can't tell at all from the pics looking on my comp. . I'd just ask the doc. . they are cool pics though! Hope everything is all fine!

I would ask the doctor for peice of mind but honestly I think they would have noticed and mentioned something like that- if it was an issue

I would mention it to your doctor, but I was told that the cord does wrap around the baby's neck at some point during each pregnancy. They told me it was normal since the baby is moving around constantly.

Hard to tell. Even if it is, it is normal since they are constantly moving and turning in there. Ask your OB at the next appt though. When I went for my 3D with DS #1 it was very clear and that wound up being the reason I needed a c-section after 21 hours of labor. Here is a pic from DS #1 - maybe you can compare?

It was an elective 3d sono from Impact Technologies... they really don't go into diagnostic things like that...
I guess I will show my doctor in two weeks when I go for my next appt...
I feel him kick and move AND i have a fetal heart monitor and check in on him every morning and the heart rate has been consistent so those all are good signs, right?
I think I am seriously freaking out for nothing - but I can't help it - I keep thinking about something around my neck and it's not a good feeling!

Our 39 wk sono monday actually showed our DC sucking on the cord...I asked the tech if it was OK b/c it was slightly wrapped too but she said it was completely normal and about 25% of babies are delivered with the cord unfortunately around the neck and as long as the pressure is removed as soon as possible, the outcome is fine.
Not really comforting but good to know its relatively normal!
