This is my second and i'm not scared. I am just NOT looking forward to the hemorrhoids afterwards that I got with DD.

I'm petrified also. This is my first and I am very scared and nervous, but I know it will all be worth it when I get to hold my son in my arms for the first time! Glad to know I am not the only one who is petrified!

I labored for days, water broke, given potocin, pushed for 3 hours and ended up with an emergency c-section with my DS#1. I can promise you that its nothing to worry about. You'll be amazed at how strong and ready for this your body really is.

I was completely terrified the first time & was freaking out until I got that Epi.
Now, I feel a little more calm since I know what to expect.

SCARED OUT OF MY MIND!!! Kind of happy she hasnt come yet bc I am so scared. I think its more about not knowing what to expect.

This will be my 3rd time and the only thing I am afraid of is not getting to the hospital in time for my epi which happened with my daughter. I definitely want my epi.

Honestly i wasnt scared at all. I just wanted to have my baby already. I went thru contractions, pushing and a c section. Yes contractions hurt but you will get thru it.. we all will. Trust me being pregnant and giving birth is wayyy less stressful then when the baby actually gets here. Then the real worrying begins

I won't read the "giving birth" parts in the book yet because I'm too scared! Not scared that something will go wrong - just scared of the pain or that the epi will wear off

i was really scared of giving birth until i got pregnant...ever since, the fear has decreased more and more. my greatest fear in life has always been surgery...and i've always been HORRIBLE w seeing blood or the thought of needles/IVs. but for some reason once i got pregnant, that all started to go away. i've had no problem w them taking blood, and any time i think about going into labor, even w the thought that it could turn into a c-section, the closer the time has gotten the less scary it seems and the more exciting.
i AM pretty scared about that epidural though, i'm not gonna lie! i was planning on trying to get through w/o it but as the time comes closer, i am accepting the fact that i'm going to want it. the idea that the pain will be so bad at that point that it won't seem like such a big deal is what keeps me from getting too upset over it.
