Inconsiderate people
I see it all the time in stores, while driving, etc. I always say that people really think they are the ONLY person on the planet. Whether they want to drive 2 miles an hour with a line of traffic behind them to find an address, rather than pull over, or they are in a supermarket and blocking me from getting something off a shelf as they read the ingredients on the can of soup, it's becoming more and more pervasive that people have zero regard for others and are in their own world/planet.
So today I go in the bathroom at work and as I walk in, there is a woman at the sink, washing her hands. I do my business, wipe, flush, pull my pants up, come out and she is still at the sink washing. The way this woman was washing her hands and for the amount of time, you would think she was scrubbing up for surgery. She had her sleeves rolled up and was scrubbing her arms up to her elbows too. Now I don't know if she wipes her ass with her elbow or what, but it just seemed a bit excessive to me.
Whatever though, I go to the other sink and wash my hands. Just as I finish, she is FINALLY done with her 10 minute hand and arm sterilization process and turns right in front of me to get a paper towel. She proceeds to block the only towel dispenser as she dispenses towel after towel to dry her hands and arms as thoroughly as she washed them. I'm standing there with my hands dripping wet behind her. You would think she would step aside as she dried, so as not to block me from getting a paper towel. But NO! Finally I had to say- EXCUSE ME.
She knew I was there. I was right next to her as she was washing for 10 minutes and there are mirrors everywhere.
I swear, I want to go live on an island sometimes. I really hate people.
I felt like breathing some germs on her germophobe ass as I left and say- oh jeez, sorry, now you have to start your surgical hand washing process all over again!

Inconsiderate people
People are seriously unbelievable.
Yesterday I had to wait for a teacher to chase down a parent bc he parked in the exit blocking everyone in the parking lot from getting out while casually walking his kid to the entrance at drop off. It's seriously a 5 minute walk from where he parked to the door and back to his car but I guess he though it was no big deal. Meanwhile all I was trying to do was get out so I could circle the block and try again for an actual parking space.

Too bad you couldn't force a sneeze and blow particles all over those clean arms and hands lol. She probably is mentally unstable. Anyone who practically bathes in a public restroom in that way can't have it all together
The most inconsiderate thing that people do - that drives me absolutely insane - is leave their shopping cart in a parking space. There are cart returns. Put them back. Or at least put them onto a divider or somewhere where you aren't blocking a spot. If I have to get out of my car to move a cart just to park one more time, I will probably be on the news. The best is I went to Target last week and went to pull into a spot and it of course had a cart in the middle of it. Some guy walking directly in front of my truck looked at the cart, looked right at me and continued walking. No, that's ok. You don't have to do the courteous thing and move the cart out of the way for me. It's fine. Best is... he grabbed a cart inside. The douche needed one anyway but why would he dare kill two birds with one stone.

BOYYYYYYYY do you and I speak the same language!!! I was literally JUST having this conversation with someone the other day.
My favorite was this woman was in front of me at the deli, about to order, but on her cell phone and having a conversation with someone. The person at the deli was GLARING at the woman to get off her phone and order. She also knew there were people behind her...but continued on her call for another 20-30 seconds before getting off the phone. Then ordered like nothing happened. No apologies to the deli clerk or the line behind her.

Inconsiderate people
I was once at at birthday party with my 3 kids right after a snowstorm parked in a tiny parking lot. I was at the end, last spot next to a pile of snow, the entrance and exit were at the opposite end of where I was parked. There was one car parked behind me enough for me to pull out and get out when the party was over. Well the party ends I go to my car with my 3 kids and there is someone parked behind me next to the other car facing the entrance. I couldn't back out. I was stuck there with my 3 kids. The grandmother of the little girl whose birthday party it was went back in to tell the desk. It was a bounce house that shared a building with a swim place. I had to wait about 10 minutes before someone casually strolls out with her child and just gets into the car. UMMMM HELLO what if I had a doctors appointment or had to be somewhere. I have kids in the car and we are waiting for you to move your car! I was so annoyed. I didn't say anything because I didn't know what to say except WTF!!!! Sorry this still pisses me off.

While frustrating, if I didn't know the person, I would give them the benefit of the doubt, and assume they had some sort of OCD or germaphobe issue, similar to Howie Mandel. It may not be anything she has real control over. It doesn't make her unstable.
If I knew her (coworker, friend, etc), and found out she was just being annoying, that would be totally different...

Yeah I don't care if she has OCD or germ issues- that's fine, whatever- but you can move over after you dispense your paper towel so others can reach the dispenser. She just stood there in front of it casually wiping her hands over and over again while I stood behind with dripping wet hands!

Not that this is your situation but sometimes I purposely don't move so that the person has to say "Excuse me". If you come up to me while I am in the middle of doing something, you should say "excuse me" not expect me to move out of your way.

I was food shopping the other day. The register next to my line opened. I had 2 items. A woman pretty much hip checked me to get ahead of me. She had a full cart. She looked at me like 5x. The kids were with me so I was polite but I so wanted to tell her off.

Re: Inconsiderate people
I call people out on their shit all the time.
I called a guy on the train an "inconsiderate tw@t" the other day when he tried to push past me (lol TRIED TO...because he didn't, he backed the hell down after I said something) I loudly squealed "REALLY?!?!" to some woman who was in the middle of the aisle at the supermarket, chatting on her phone blocking anyone from passing, then said "can you kindly move your shit?!" to her.
I am loud and abrasive and I don't give a fck.

Re: Inconsiderate people
I don’t know, but nothing about this seems too inconsiderate. Maybe I’m just used to this because Germany has the attitude you just described in your post.
My mom is coming over next week and she gets so angry at how inconsiderate they seem to be. I’ve started to be the same and I did have a bit of a problem with this on my last visit. I was on my phone at Shake Shack and bumped into someone and spilled her shake. To be fair, the place was so packed (It’s the one on 34th I think?). I know I was in the wrong, but she gave me the dirtiest look for about a minute. It was really strange. I offered to buy her a new shake and said I was sorry, but that didn’t seem to be good enough to her. Luckily, SS bought her a new shake.
My point is that I have seemed to change with regards to being considerate. None of that stuff (OP’s post) would bother me now. Be kind. Someone might be going through something and you just don’t know.

OMG one time in Target I was walking past all the cashiers on my way to self check out. As I was passing one register it opened at just that moment. An old guy who was on the next line saw it and raced over to the newly opened checkout stand all the while staring at me as if I was going to jump on that line. When he got there, he turned around and stared at me with a triumphant look on his face and was sneering at me! Like, "Ha, ha I got here first!" Like a fuking 2 year old!
I yelled out as I was passing, "I wasn't going to that check out anyway, but rock on with your bad self!"

Oh man this reminds me of a story from years ago. I was on my lunch break and was crossing the street in front of my old job to go to a deli. This guy from my building was also crossing, and he basically hip-checked me to get in front of me. Okay, whatever. We both went in to the same deli and he's on line in front of me. He turns around and says "I knew you were coming in here, that's why I walked so fast in front of you so I would get here first" And I said "WOW, YOUR LIFE MUST FCKING SUCK"

Oh yes, you are so right! I love when people are shopping the grocery store shelves, see me coming down the aisle & leave their cart right there in the middle. You see me, I refuse to say excuse me, I'll just use my cart to push yours out of my way.
