another inconsiderate people vent
DH and I went to my boss's son's bar mitzvah on saturday. the party was at night.
by the time we got to our table, which was right by the dj booth, the only 2 seats left were adjacent to the speakers.
i was so uncomfortable- my entire body, especially my belly, was vibrating and no one would switch seats with us and we were sitting w/ people that we know and who know how physically uncomfortable i have been throughout my entire pregnancy (i'm 32 weeks).
strangers on the nyc subway have been more considerate and curteous than these people!

some people pretended they didn't hear me and others rolled their eyes and ignored me.

we spent most of the time in the lobby since the room was also very warm.
the only time we spent at the table was for the candle lighting ceremony and the meal.

u betcha i will! and they didn't renew my contract for next year, so i'm waiting to see if they want me to come back for the remaining 6 weeks of this year's contract after my maternity leave or if they're going to buy me out...
the way they treated me at the party is like an extension of the way i'm treated at work every day.
except for the financial worries, i'm looking forward to being a SAHM. if it weren't for my direct boss, who is the most wonderful man ever, i would be institutionalized from the horrible way these jerks make me feel.
honestly, who complains that a pregnant woman goes to the bathroom too much! who complains that a pregnant woman can't stand a whole day and has to sit down!
