Implantation spotting color? Updated 2/7/08
I just went to the bathroom & noticed some brownish discharge on the TP when I wiped. Could it be??? Trying to not think into things but I never had this before...I still have the cramping on the left side & my nips are sore...Today I am 12DPO!

So whatever I had is gone this morning! I wore a pantiliner to bed & there was nothing. I had a couple more times of the brownish discharge before bed but this morning i am back to normal...I have no idea what is going on

WOW!!! I give you credit..........12DPO and you're not testing yet??!! You are a much stronger woman than I was.........I only lasted until 9DPO before I gave in.

I am not armed with any HPT's! I guess after 7 months of testing early & getting BFN's, I figured I would wait this one out! Now I am thinking it might be off to the Dr bc this month was not a success

Implantation spotting is usually very light pink and not really brown....brown spotting is just old blood from previous cycles....also, implantation usually happens at 7DPO - 10DPO (7DPO being the average) so 12DPO is a little too late for it.....
I would test at this point and see what is going on...at 13DPO you should get a good answer!!
No matter what, don't count yourself out until AF shows up!!!! GL to you!

CAn you call your gyn for a blood test in the office? I would do an HPT and see what that shows too.

I had actual red blood (tiny drops of it) and also brown when I wiped! I think this is it for you! I pray that it is!

I had similar spotting at 11 dpo. I waited and didn't test until 13 & 14 dpo and got BFPs.

I've had brown implantation spotting as well. Even though it was 12 dpo-I have read that in some people blood can take a few days to work itself out, explaining why it was brown. It sounds good for you. Hope this is it!
