I'm going to an acupuncturist***UPDATE***
tomorrow! I've read so much about it helping with infertility and helping IVF have better success rates so I'm going to give it a try. I figured since we're going to be doing the MicroIVF I might as well do anything I can to give it a btter chance at taking!
I'll let you all know how it goes!
Update:
It went great! Dr. Perretta was amazing. It didn't hurt at all and it was so relaxing. I really think this is going to help! If anyone has any specific questions feel free to ask away!

That's good you're going to someone you know.
Anyone I know who does acupuncture raves about it and ends up going for regular treatments.

i really want to go too. im a little afraid of the needles part - although you would think after 3 cycles of injectables i would be used to it  .
please let us know how it is!! if this cycle is BFN i will DEF be going. i actually kind of want to start now but i wasn't 100% sure if it was OK to start something like that during the 2WW and i didnt want to rock the baby boat (i know thats probably silly but still).

I will definitely let you know! From what I've read most people don't even feel the needles since they are so thin.

I think that is a great idea. I used to go all the time. I never went for fertility reasons but it helped SO much with all the other reasons I went. I used to have really bad anxiety and accupuncture was the ONLY thing that worked for me. It also helped chronic neck pain I had. It is a very great way to relax and unwind as well.

I went for fertility reasons and i LOVE it! I actually continue to go now when I'm pg for the first trimester. I found it so relaxing and I honestly believe it helped me get pg!
I hope you really enjoy it!

Good luck! I love acupuncture! My RE told me I would probably not get pregnant at all (very high FSH) and after a few months of acupuncture I got pregnant! I just started seeing my acupunctuirst again b/c we are ttc #2. Good luck!

I'm curious to hear about your experience. I've been thinking about going for acupuncture myself. Any idea what the average cost is per treatment? It's my understanding that you really need to do regular treatments for it to really help.
