Woo hoo! I was induced at 38w6d. I was given pitocin at 2:30pm and delivered my ds at 12:31 am the next day. Everything went smoothly with my induction. If you have any questions feel free to fm me. Good luck!

i ent in monday night at 6pm had two cervadils and ended up with a c section at 4am.

I was given cervidil over night and then pitocin the next day. I was in actual labor for about 8 hours including the 1 1/2 hours of pushing. Best of luck! Cant wait to see pics of your

6 hours start to finish...but I was already 2.5cm.
If I had to do it again I'd actually have waited to go on my own...

I went in Monday night at 9:30 pm and was induced via Cervadil, another thing I forgot the name of b/c I had a horrible allergic reaction to the Cervadil and Pitocin....I had DD WEDNESDAY morning at 9:44!!! I ended up with a section b/c I was just not dilating enough!

You probably don't want to hear my story but. .
I went in a 6 PM on thursday night and ended up with a c-section SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! morning after 2.5 hours of pushing!
Not going to lie - it sucked but I hope yours goes WAYYYY more smoothly or even better that you will go on your own!
Good luck and can't wait to see you on the mommy side!

I was just induced on the 11th - My fluids were low and I was almost 2cm. I went in at 8:30 at night and they started the cervidil at 9:45 - the next morning, my Dr came in to check me and I went to 3cm and I was soft, so they started the pitocin at about 10am on the 12th. At about 12pm my water broke and the contractions were pretty strong at that point. I got an epi at 3ish and then I felt NOTHING (it was amazing!!) They had to turn the pitocin off bc DS heartrate kept dropping. So I was not on pitocin for all that long and I was able to progress on my own. The head nurse came in at about 9 and checked me and called the Dr - they started to set up and they let me start push not that much later - 15 min of pushing and DS was here!!
Honestly I was petrified of induction, epi and pushing - It was all fine and I would do it all over again.
For the pushing part - when they say bare down - push as if you have to poop and do not use your face - I know it sounds dumb but they said I got the pushing right and that is what helped it be so quick. My friend had a prob finding how to push and it took her longer
