I'm back with my baby Boy!
Hey guys! Thanks for all the well wishes. I had my sister post that announcement.
Monday we checked in at 11 AM. Smooth sailing. Wonderful nurses, great staff. I was so excited, nerves never took over. Spinal worked immediately. I received that at 1:30..I had no idea they had even began. I wasn't tied down or anything, a nurse was holding one hand, the other went to get Leo. Everyone in the room was taking bets on the gender. They said they never get surprises.
Leo came in and he was so happy to see me comfortable, he did not know what to expect.
At 1:44, the dr told Leo to stand up and let everyone know who won the poll. He said "We have a boy" I said I know
 It was completely a magical moment. Surreal, unreal..to be in the same room as Josh, finally. The nurse said that before his bottom half was out, she already knew it was a boy, that he is all boy.
My mother was in the waiting area,well, she had escaped and was standing in the hallway. So I was being wheeled into recovery and the nurse asked if she can wheel the baby out by my mother. So Leo and Josh went out to find my mother...my mother saw Leo and said what is it? Leo said Boy and broke down. My mother broke down...bad..

I am so in love. I can't stop looking at him. He is a lazy baby who sleeps straight through the night. He needs to snap out of it soon, he needs night feedings. He is impossible to wake up and falls asleep 3-4 minutes after starting to eat. His latch is really great and my milk came in, he just eats every 6 hours, when he should be eating every 3. So he has lost weight. He was born at 9.7, he's now 8.10. It upset me so much. We go back to the dr tomorrow. I rented a pump from the hospital. They think that maybe Josh is too comfy being so close to me while BFing that he goes back to sleep. The kid is always sleeping. I just had to feed him an ounce of milk while he was being bathed by Leo. They said he should be eating 1.5-2 ounces every 3 hours. he eats like an ounce every 5-6. So I pumped twice today. I am going to wake him at 9 and try again. We got a wet diaper and 2 soiled diapers in the last 5 hours..so I am hoping for another wet one. So I have tons of time to post, since my baby is a sleeper. If anyone has any advice, please share.

also wanted to add I have had zero pain. I don't know why, but I had only been taking ibproren, my last one was at 11 today. I was up and walking around once spinal was gone and I could feel my legs.

I really wouldn't worry about him sleeping--he won't let himself starve.
That is awesome he is already such a good baby.
Its so weird..I remember watching the video and u asking your belly about what names the baby liked!
Im glad u had such a great experience!

I was waiting for c-section pain...never came.
I was waiting for difficult latching/BF issues...never came
sleepless nights...never came.
he sleeps so much. The first night I thought someone stole him out of the nursery. I dropped him off at 12:30, told them to get me when he wakes so I can feed him..5 am went by, 6 am..at 6:30 I was convinced someone had him and went looking for him.

that's what my father was just telling me on the phone. That my big complaint is a sleeping baby who is 8.10 at 3 days old. I need something to worry about.

Congrats, Janice!!! I just got teary reading your story. I'm so glad everything went so well for you. He is a gorgeous baby. Enjoy every minute. I sympathize with your feeding issues. I had trouble getting Lily to stay awake long enough to eat at first too. These were the pointers I was given: tickle her cheek and neck, tickle her feet, blow on her face (I felt bad doing that), touch her face with a damp cloth (I felt bad with that one too.) I'm sure he'll start eating more soon. Lily did. She was 8 lbs 6oz when she was born, 7 lbs 11 oz when we left the hospital and back up to 8 lbs 5 oz when we went to the pediatrician two days later. At her last visit she was 9 lbs 11 oz. Good luck. Don't worry too much.

thanks for the story. I knew I needed to post and hear other peoples tales.
one night I called the lacation lady and said I have been trying for 40 minutes to wake him nothing works. She said oh, take off his shirt..I said we need a marching band. He is naked, I am topless, Leo has a wet face cloth..Leo feels so bad doing it to him, he will wet him and run so Josh doesn't see his face.
