I've been coming on here looking for your update. Your beta numbers are fantastic! YOU ARE PREGNANT - don't let previous loss take away from your joy ......because..... YOU ARE PREGNANT! Bask in that news, it'll only make a stronger, cozier environment for your little one (or little ONES)!

You've spent plenty of days worried, sad, mad, etc. Today you are just like every other pregger out there - so ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY!!!!!!!!!

Can I just say one more time that YOU ARE PREGGGGGGGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yayayayayayayayayayayayay.

OMG fantastick news!!!!! Congratulations and enjoy the moment!!!!!

My beta was lower than yours and I started out with twins (lost one at 7 weeks).....your beta sounds great and I would think its Twins!!!

Was this fresh or FET? FET beta's are usually higher than fresh since most are 5 day expanding blasts....How many did you transfer???

As you know, betas don't always indicate if its twins or not. I know some people have had crazy high betas and had singletons and vice versa.

That being said, check out betabase. You can see beta numbers for singleton and twins. Have fun!!!!

Congrats! i have been following your story

i am a Dr. Braverman grad and a kofinas patient.

my 1st beta at 10dp3dt was 356 i think that is equivalent to 13dpo.
and that number was for triplets!! so you have a great chance of a multiple pregnancy! i wish you the best of luck

i too had 3 losses myself, so when i learned of the pregnancy with IVF i was freaking out.. pretty much how you described yourself.. BUT once i started seeing dr. kofinas (8 weeks) and in his care, i honestly felt a lot better. with his rap sheet, he is just top notch and amazing. and with seeing him on top of the OB you will do just fine!

Speaking as someone w/ past m/c's and losses, you never stop worrying. It does switch to a whole new set of worries though..... welcome to Mommyhood! I made my first appt. w/ Dr. Kofinas as soon as I could. I didn't want to take any chances. This pregnancy started off as twins and I lost Baby B at 9 wks.
Just had on Friday. You're well on your way!!!

RUN to Dr. Kofinas. He wants to start caring for patients ASAP so he can start monitoring the placenta and blood clots right away. Congrats!!!

I'd make a high risk appt. as soon as you could. if it needs to be changed (I won't say cancelled ) you can change it! And you will never stop worrying, that's what mommies do!

YAY! YAY! YAY! I'm so thrilled you feel confident to post your BFP. You know I'm cheering you along and can't wait to hear all about the next 9 months.

I have never been in your situation, but I would make the appt. for the high risk now. It might be a week or two before you can get in.

i am BEYOND thrilled for you!!!!!!!!!!!! after all you have been through here's to an uneventful 9 months!!!!!!!!!

and it DEF looks like there could be more than one in there!!
my beta at 13dp5dt was 197 and at 15dp5dt was 479 - and i WAS pregnant with twins although only one developed into a baby by my six week sono!!
honestly - with your numbers - could it be !!!! how many did you transfer???
do you know your progesterone # too? that's also known to be telling for multiples - even if you are on PIO.

as far as nervousness - for me it got a little easier every week that went by... im 19w today.. (and believe me i feel like it may be bittersweet for you to read this since you got your BFP last time a day before I got mine). at around 15w i started relaxing A LITTLE as far as m/c goes... i still get very nervous a lot since i dont really feel the baby and i never had bad symptoms.. but my belly is getting big and so far everything has been completely normal . i have my level 2 on wednesday and with each appt and milestone i just for a clean bill of health for . i wont say it gets easier cause i dont believe it does - it just changes into other nervousness and worry. i promise you though - you are NOT hurting your baby!! there are people who have been through a lot less who are a lot more worried - I PROMISE!! and they go home with healthy babies!
